Has humans caused Climate Change?

Yes, humans have played a significant role in causing climate change. The scientific community is in broad agreement that the Earth’s climate is changing due to human activities, particularly the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas, which release carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Deforestation and other land-use changes also contribute to climate change by reducing the amount of carbon that forests and other ecosystems can absorb.

The overwhelming majority of climate scientists agree that human activity is the primary cause of climate change, and this consensus is supported by a vast body of scientific evidence. While there are natural factors that can influence the Earth’s climate, such as volcanic eruptions and changes in solar radiation, these factors are not sufficient to explain the rapid and sustained warming observed in recent decades.
